Sarah Geronimo goes on a yacht date with Gerald Anderson; Sarah refers to Gerald as “babe”!

Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo had a yacht date for the pilot episode of Sarah G Live, which aired its pilot episode last Sunday night.

For the opening number of her musical variety show, Sarah G Live, Sarah Geronimo emerged wearing a futuristic looking outfit with shimmering silver accents and knee-high boots.

After performing a series of energetic song numbers, Sarah went backstage and came out wearing a knee-length high dress cinched at the waist with a red belt. The Popstar Princess was walking towards the audience as she gave her opening spiel: “Magandang gabi ulit sa inyong lahat! I love you all!”

Suddenly, she tripped a little as she stepped on to the platform of the stage. But she caught herself on time as she continued: “This is it! Woohoo! Una po sa lahat, taos pusong akong nagpapasalamat sa inyong lahat for being here at pag welcome sa first episode ng Sarah G Live.”

She admitted, “Dream come true po talaga ito. Asahan nyo po na lalo kong gawing special ang Sunday night family bonding ninyo.”

Sarah then introduced her co-host Luis Manzano whom she described as the “Pambansang Lucky Charm.” Luis then came out and gave the singer-actress a bouquet of flowers. Sarah took this time to congratulate Luis who was seen last Saturday, February 25, as the new host of Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.

Derek Ramsay was then introduced as the special guest for the pilot episode. Sarah described him as the “hottest hunk in town.”

SIGE GO ADVENTURE ON A YACHT. At this point, Sarah was asked about her so-called “Sige Go Adventures” with Gerald Anderson.

Feeling rich!”

A video of Sarah at the CCP complex was then shown wherein the TV host invited everyone to join her for her first yacht adventure. Meanwhile, Gerald Anderson also shot his own video on the yacht and he told viewers: “Nandito ako ngayon sa napaka romantic na Manila Bay dahil may gusto akong i-surprise, siyempre, siya si Baby Girl, si Sarah Geronimo.”

When Sarah entered the Captain’s cabin, she shrieked as soon as she saw her leading man in the movie Won’t Last A Day Without You.

Gerald told Sarah, “Welcome to my [yacht]. Meron akong post-Valentine date para sa iyo.”

Sarah immediately said, “Ayoko nga sabi nun, e!”

The two stars were then shown grilling some hotdogs onboard the yacht. While sitting down for a meal, Sarah asked Gerald directly: “Kamusta naman ang estado ng puso mo ngayon?”

Gerald answered, “Okay naman, steady lang siya ngayon. Masaya naman.”

When he asked Sarah about her own love life, Sarah admitted, “Masaya kasi okay na.”

The ABS-CBN actor asked Sarah to rate her happiness and she candidly said, “Nine [out of ten] kasi kumpleto naman ang pamilya ko. Healthy ang bawat isa saka blessed ako sa career ko. Nakakakilala ako ng mga bagong kaibigan at isa ka na doon.”

A brief video clip even showed Sarah and Gerald holding hands as they talked and joked with each other.

Onboard, the two stars also took the time to do videoke. Sarah says about Gerald: “May mga similarities rin kami pagdating sa taste namin sa music.”

When Sarah asked Gerald to choose a song that would describe how he felt at that time, Gerald held Sarah’s hand as he sang the line: “You are so beautiful to me…”

For their duet, Sarah chose the song “If I Was the One.” Gerald started singing the song while Sarah kept on looking for another song choice in a songbook. Sarah then suddenly blurted out, “Hanap lang ako, babe.”

In response, Gerald stopped singing and asked Sarah: “Anong sabi mo?”

A visibly flustered Sarah tried to argue that the word ‘babe’ came from the lyrics of the song but Gerald insisted, “Walang ‘babe’ diyan!”

Sarah kept on pushing and joking around with Gerald as she tried to cover up her embarrassment.

SARAH’S IDEAL GUY. As they both sat down for dinner, Gerald took this opportunity to ask Sarah about the qualities that she is looking for in a guy.

The young actress pointed out, “Basta mahal ako. Basta respectful. Kahit hindi kasing gwapo mo. Delikado po ang mga ganitong mukha kasi chick boy.”

Gerald retaliated by asking Sarah, “Porke’t may itsura ang lalaki, chick boy na agad?”

Sarah emphasized, “Hindi ka may itsura. Gwapo ka. You’re beautiful.”

Gerald turned the table on Sarah and described her as “Ikaw si Ms. Very Beautiful Girl in the World. Alam mo naming totoo yun, e.”

Sarah smiled but she kept on saying, “Shut up!”

Gerald handed Sarah a big bouquet of red roses before they mimicked the famous pose of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in Titanic. They even tried ballroom dancing as Gerald lowered Sarah into a dip.

Devil Inside will open in Philippine cinemas by February 29!

On Octobre 30, 1989, Maria Rossi (Suzan Crowley) committed a triple murder during an exorcism performed on her. The Catholic Church became involved, and she has since been in a Catholic psychiatric hospital in Rome. The film shows a news story and police investigation showing the three members of the clergy whom she murdered. Her daughter, Isabella, learned of the murders from her father, who died three days after telling her.

Twenty years later, Isabella (Fernanda Andrade) is in the process of filming a documentary about exorcisms, and to find out more about her mother, she visits a school in Rome. She meets two priests, Ben (Simon Quarterman) and David (Evan Helmuth). Ben and David take Isabella with them on an exorcism performed on Rosalita (Bonnie Morgan). They bring along medical equipment to determine if it’s possession or mental illness. Rosalita attacks the crew after spouting out obscene remarks in different languages and accents. She calls Isabella by her name, despite not knowing her. Eventually, they get her under control.
When Isabella goes to visit her mother, Maria, in the asylum, she finds that her mother also speaks in different accents and has paintings all over the walls. She has inverted crosses carved into her arms and her bottom lip. Maria tells Isabella that killing a child is against God’s will, then lets out an ear-shattering scream. Isabella tells David and Ben that she had an abortion years ago and her mother had no way of knowing that–another sign that showed possible possession.
After analyzing the data from the video and audio files, they present the evidence to the Church. David shows many signs of stress, as Ben plays the audio files over and over, listening to the part where Maria says “I know what you did.” Ben then finds that there are four different demons speaking in unison in a different clip.

The international cast includes Fernanda Andrade as Isabela Torelli, Simon Quarterman as Ben, Evan Helmuth as David, Suzan Crowley as Maria, Ionut Grama and at Bonnie Morgan II.

Devil Inside is a Paramount Pictures Presentation directed by Brent Bell and is distributed locally by  United International Pictures through Solar Entertainment Corporation.

This film will open in Philippine cinemas starting February 29, 2012.

Baron Geisler and 5 other housemates return to the Pinoy Big Brother house!

Things just got nastier and more exciting in Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited with the entry of M6, or the six former housemates tasked to bring out the current season’s housemates’ true colors and to help the public decide on who deserves to be the reality show’s Big Winner.

After Big Brother openly expressed his dissatisfaction with the housemates who seem undetermined to enter the Big Four, he sought help from the M6 housemates who are known to have assertive personalities. Franzen Fajardo, Baron Geisler, Beauty Gonzalez, Rica Paras, and PBB Unlimited evictees Kigoy and Luz are expected to spice things up inside the house and test the current housemates.

It was only a matter of time before Paco was able to successfully infuriate some of the housemates to fulfill his task as a house player. Viewers even favored his performance, as determined by last week’s overnight voting that revealed they still wanted him to stay in the house.

Meanwhile, this week’s nominees for eviction are Divine, Kevin, and Seiichi, who received the most number of votes from the housemates who thought the three were pretentious.

Deniesse, on the other hand, was granted a forced eviction and got kicked out of the house last Saturday (February 25) for asking Melai of the public’s perception of her and for whispering to Divine, both of which are grave violations of Big Brother’s house rules.

Pinoy Big Brother UnliDay with Bianca Gonzalez airs weekdays after Angelito: Batang Ama in Kapamilya Gold and in Pinoy Big Brother UnliNight with Toni Gonzaga weeknights after Budoy in Primetime Bida. Also stay tuned to PBB Unlimited Updateswith Robi Domingo during Angelito: Batang Ama and E-Boy on ABS-CBN.

Bela Padilla no longer the FHM Philippines March cover girl?

Bela Padilla who is the FHM Philippines cover girl will no longer see the day of light, since the magazine has decided not to use her photo amidst dark looking models for the up-coming March 2012 issue!

A lot of people complained that the magazine cover is racist!

What do you think?

Here is what the FHM Philippines official statement on the matter:

“When FHM hits the stands in March it will have a different cover. We deem this to be the most prudent move in the light of the confusion over the previous cover execution. We apologize and thank those who have raised their points.”

Who is the cover girl for March then?

Gloria Arroyo pleads not guilty to poll sabotage charge!

Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo entered a not guilty plea to electoral sabotage charges when she faced a Pasay City court for her arraignment on Thursday, one of her lawyers said.

Lawyer Ferdinand Topacio, who was one of those who accompanied Mrs. Arroyo to the Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 112, said the former President “very firmly” denied the charges lodged against her before the court.

“Wala naman po siya talagang kasalanan. Para sa amin, ang arraignment na ito ang first step towards acquittal sapagkat napakanipis naman po talaga nitong mga paratang laban sa ating dating Pangulo,” Topacio told reporters.

Mrs. Arroyo, in a statement sent to the media after her arraignment, said she chose to face the court, presided by Judge Jesus Mupas, to show that she respects the judicial process.

“Despite the continuous and massive vilification campaign against me and my family, I have always said that I will dispute all charges in the proper forum. I am submitting myself to this process not only to clear my name but also as part of my commitment to respect and abide by the rules and orders of our courts,” said Mrs. Arroyo, who now represents Pampanga’s second legislative district in the House of Representatives.

She added that she hopes that “our leaders uphold and our people have faith in the constitution and the rule of law.”

PHL among ‘strong performers’ in env’t protection — US study!

The Philippines is one of the “strong” performing countries this year in terms of environmental protection, a study by two American universities showed.

In a biennial report prepared by Yale and Columbia Universities, the Philippines was ranked 42nd out of 132 countries in the 2012 Environmental Performance Index (EPI)—a measure of countries’ performances in terms of environmental protection developed by Yale and Columbia Universities.

The current ranking is a slight improvement from 2010, when the Philippines ranked 50th in the EPI.

This year, the Philippines also managed to outrank the United States of America and some of its neighbors in Southeast Asia, such as Indonesia, Singapore, and Viet Nam. All of these countries were named “modest performers” in the EPI ranking.

The Philippines particularly did well in the agricultural policy subcategory, where the country got a performance score of 33.3 out of 50. It, however, scored low –31.8 percent — in terms of vitality in water ecosystems.

Switzerland, meanwhile, was identified as the top performing country in terms of environment protection, followed by Latvia and Norway.

The EPI aggregates scores from 10 policy categories — including environmental health and vitality of ecosystems — to come up with the country rankings.

Iza Calzado’s leading man in her first teleserye in dos is Gabby Concepcion!

The newest Kapamilya Iza Calzado is all set to do a teleserye and if rumors are to be believed her leading man will be Gabby Concepcion!

In a recent report it is said that Gabby Concepcion just declined an offer in the Kapuso network in the up-coming teleserye with Richard Gutierrez, Carla Abellana and Sarah Lahbati. Gabby is supposed to play the role of Richard’s father.
