“Eat Bulaga” host Jose Manalo faces new complain in court, this time by his daughter!

“Eat Bulaga” host Jose Manalo is being charged anew for alleged violation of Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence against Women and their Children) this time by his own daughter.

After his estranged wife Annalyn Manalo’s complaint last year, Manalo’s 17-year-old daughter has filed a complaint against him before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office on Friday.

Manalo’s daughter, represented by her legal counsel Dennis Pangan, said in her six-page complaint that the comedian failed to provide financial support for his family, whom he allegedly abandoned on Jan. 6, 2012.

According to the complainant, Manalo’s failure to provide financial support forced her to stop schooling.

After the mediation proceedings at the Philippine Mediation Center in Quezon City held last October, Manalo was said to have agreed to send financial support for her daughter’s education.

The complainant revealed having enrolled herself at Raffles Design Institute. However, she claimed that Manalo didn’t give her and her mother his contact details assuring that he will have the payments sent directly to the school on time. After settling the initial dues, Manalo failed to pay the next installment due last Dec. 1, added the complainant.

Eat Bulaga’s “That’s My Tambay” exclusively for straight male only!

Eat Bulaga! has launched a new contest/segment called “That’s My Tambay,”  another contest exclusively for straight males who are jobless and always seen on the streets as contestants!

That's+My+Tambay

The new segment is the brainchild of Joey de Leon which is inspired by the top-trending contest “That’s My Tomboy” of rival show It’s Showtime which features people from the third sex.

The contest is limited only to straight male (no tomboy or gay allowed). The contestant will not only show their talents to singging and dancing but also some unique talents to show. To be shown not in the studio, but on the street during the “Juan For All, All For Juan” portion.
The winners will a “Pangkabuhayan” showcase. They will then follow up how the contestants made good of their prizes by visiting them again to see if they learn to grow with what they received as a price.
It is a contest with a cause.

Ryzza Mae Dizon “Ang Maliit goes Big-time” on the cover of YES!

Child wonder Ryzza Mae Dizon is on the spotlight on the cover of YES! Magazine‘s September 2013 issue!

yes-sep-ia

Ryzza started talking at eight months old and grew up to be quite a talker. Her determination to rise above their hardships pushed the pint-sized dreamer to join contests—from barangay kiddie pageants to Wiltime Bigtime toLittle Miss Philippines.

Her mother, Rizza Dizon, says that Ryzza cried a river when she did not make it to the elimination round of the 2012 Little Miss Philippines, and when she finally made it to the grand finals as a wildcard bet, she did not think that she would actually win, or that she would be a part of Eat Bulaga’s cast.

Initially, the people behind the noontime show didn’t have big plans for the talented tyke aside from allowing her to putter around on the set. But in only a few months, Ryzza was able to convince her bosses that she could be the next child wonder that they have been trying to groom since the days of Aiza Seguerra. Ryzza was given her own portion and more production numbers in Eat Bulaga. Then came along The Ryzza Mae Show, which made her the youngest and smallest talk show host around. Everybody is now in love with Aleng Maliit, and YES! fulfills its promise to let the public get to know her better in their latest issue.

The September issue of YES! Magazine also delves into the weight-loss success stories of known personalities likeJudy Ann SantosBea Alonzo, Carla Abellana, and Eugene Domingo.  There’s also a profile on Tom Rodriguez’s in the Pogi Series, and a special feature on Paolo Ballesteros’s ever-changing stellar looks.

The September 2013 issue of YES! Magazine is now available in newsstands, bookstores, convenience stores, and supermarkets nationwide. A digital edition of YES! is also available for download on your mobile device.

Oyo Sotto was in Eat Bulaga last Saturday to promote his up-coming sit-com “Vampire ang Daddy Ko” with father Vic Sotto. The source said that Pauleen and Oyo crossed path along the Hallway of the studio and Pauleen said ‘hi’ to him, but there was no response from him as if he saw no one.

Many people saw what happened and it seems that Pauleen got “napahiya” that she just cried after the incident.

What will Vic Sotto say to this matter?

‘Eat Bulaga! Indonesia’ is the First International Franchise of the Kapuso Noontime Show!

The longest-running noon time show in the Philippines now has an Indonesian version. Check out some video clips from the pilot episode which aired on Monday, July 16, in Indonesia.

“Eat Bulaga! Indonesia” premiered on Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) channel on Monday, July 16. It’s the first international franchise of the top-rating noontime show by TAPE Inc. which airs from Monday to Saturday on GMA Network.

Just like the original, the Indonesian version is comprised of popular segments like “Pinoy Henyo” (“Indonesia Pintar”), “One for All, All for One,” “Bulagaan” (“Bolagaan”) and “Karaoke Stud.” Even the hosts have Indonesian counterparts like for example, bossing Vic Sotto has a similitude called “Boss Uya” and the term “dabarkads” is called “bulagang.”
