John Prats before meeting Isabel Oli: “I never prayed for my lovelife. Ha! Ha! Ha! Sabi ko, ‘Sige, wala namang masama, eh!’”!

John Prats, 29 year old who’s past relationship did not work out and the last one is with Bianca Manalo. After his last break-up he just wanted to take a break from dating, and last Christmas he decided to pray for the right one to come into his life.

Just early this year he was introduced to Isabel Oli via his sister Camille Prats. And everything changes in his life.

This is what John said on failed relationship:

“Siguro, frustrated na rin ako in a way na how come my past relationships, talagang hindi nagwu-work? Is it me or what? Frustrating eh, and it’s really tiring.”

On Camille’s advice to pray so that he will find the right one:

“I never prayed for my lovelife. Ha! Ha! Ha! ‘Pag nagdarasal ako, I always pray for my family, my career, my health. Sabi ko, ‘Sige, wala namang masama, eh!’

He did not just pray, he took it even seriously:

“So, nag-nine mornings (Simbang Gabi bago mag-Pasko last year) ako. And I quit smoking as my sacrifice. Tinigil ko talaga. At wala namang masama, eh. So, nag-wish ako. Sabi ko, ‘Lord, just surprise me next year.’

On being introduced to Isabel through Camille:

“I didn’t expect na this early, nandu’n na ‘yung instant surprise for me, na pinakilala sa akin si Isabel.”

On Isabel being hesitant on dating him first and the getting to know stage:

“Very sweet siya na hindi niya alam. Sinabi niya sa akin na, ‘Huy, seryosohin mo naman ako.’ Kasi, she was really scared to give her number at first because of my reputation. And I was disappointed. I feel bad. Kasi, I know myself. I’m not a bad person. And it saddens me na ganu’n ‘yung tingin sa akin. Unfortunately, I have to prove myself.”

On Isabel as the one for him:

“Inaangkin ko na. Dapat gano’n. So, inaangkin ko na.”

“Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto,” warmly welcomed by Filipinos in its pilot week!

Filipinos warmly welcomed the return of Angelito (JM De Guzman) on afternoon television as the premiere of “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto” hit a national TV rating of 13.5% last Monday (July 16),beating its rival program with only 10% based on the combined urbal and rural TV audience measurement data from Kantar Media.

The show also consistently beat its rival show in the succeeding days, making it a very strong contender in the afternoon block. Viewers first followed Angelito’s struggles as a single dad in “Angelito: Batang Ama” which was the number one afternoon drama series in ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold.

As his story continues in this new chapter, Angelito also confronts new challenges in his life as a family man. He recently discovered that Rosalie’s dad Delfin (Al Tantay) has another family after bumping into Rodel (Aldred Gatchalian), Delfin’s son out of wedlock. Angelito has also yet to learn about Jenny (Kaye Abad) bearing his child which will surely rattle his marriage with Rosalie (Charee Pineda).

How will Angelito face all these problems? Don’t miss “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto,” Mondays to Fridays, after “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN.
