Kiray Celis from Star Magic Ball 2013 ugly duckling to a beautiful swan(Photos)!

Hairstylist and makeup artist Fanny Serrano shared some photos of comedian young actress Kiray Celis on his official Facebook Account.

Serrano read some comments of netizens criticized her look during Star Magic Ball 2013. And the stylist is not happy about it, so he decided to contact Kiray and make her his new muse.

“When I saw her photos at the Star Magic Ball at nabasa ang mga panglalait sa image nya on that event as one of the worst dressed stars, i got hurt, kahit hindi kami magkakilala ng personal and i told myself that sobra namang mamintas ang mga tao…personalan na talaga”

“So what i did the next day, i called my kumareng Gina Marissa Tagasa to ask contact numbers of Kiray Celis at dumating naman sa akin ang kanyang personal #. And i texted her kung pwede ko syang tawagan. Nagkausap kami and i felt her unbelievable voice at sobrang excitement when i told that i needed her for a glamorous fashion shoot in one full day”

Kiray Celis enjoys portraying ‘kontrabida roles’!

She lands roles in heavy drama, romance and comedy but according to teen actress Kiray Celis, her most unforgettable experiences are as a ‘kontrabida’.

“My first kontrabida role was in Mara Clara. I found it really challenging to be a ‘maldita’ and I wasn’t sure at first if I was doing or saying the right things. But when I found out that a lot of viewers were starting to hate the character I was portraying, I felt comfortable with my acting,” she said.

If given a chance, she said she wants to get other villain roles. “It’s thrilling to be the one causing trouble,” she added. However, she clarified that comedy will always be a part of her because she loves making people happy just like what her character does in “LUV U”.

This Sunday (January 13) on “LUV U”, Whitney’s (Kiray) classmates will pull a prank on her by uploading a funny video of her on YouTube. Things will have a turnaround when a talent agency sees it and takes interest on signing her up for modeling.

Will this finally jump start Whitney’s career? Find out on “LUV U” this Sunday (January 13) after “ASAP 18” on ABS-CBN.

Brand new loveteams in “Luv U” for 2013?

Miles Ocampo, one of the lead stars of the teen comedy series said that there are a lot to watch out for in “LUV U” for 2013.

The same thing is happening for the characters of Kiray Celis and Igi Boy Flores. Kiray said that there might be additions in characters in the coming year, but again it’s not definite. “Viewers should see if the love teams will be retained or not,” she added.
