This 42-year-old music veteran from Manila easily zoomed to frontrunner status when he turned two chairs during the Blind Auditions with his strong voice and charisma.

The lead vocalist of The Draybers, Yonting brought his experience to the auditions stage with “Bakit Ako Mahihiya.” Faced with a decision to pick either Lea Salonga or Bamboo Manalac as coach, Yonting eventually joined the Broadway diva’s stable.

For the Battle Rounds, Yonting was paired with Chien Berbana for a stirring renditino of “Alone.” He would go on to earn a landslide victory in public votes during the Live Shows with “Don’t Stop Me Now,” which he followed up with hit performances of “Paano,” “Against All Odds,” and “The Power of Love.”
