Sheryl Cruz and Tina Paner share their stories in “Tunay na Buhay”!

Tonight after Kapuso Movie Nights, ’80s teen icons Sheryl Cruz and Tina Paner share their life stories on GMA 7’s Tunay Na Buhay.

As the eldest child of movie stars Rosemarie Sonora and Ricky Belmonte, Sheryl was exposed to showbiz life at a young age. At six, she already starred in her first movie Candy. Later on, she became part of the group, Triplets,  along with Manilyn Reynes and Tina. Her love team with Romnick Sarmenta was one of the most popular love teams of their generation. She bowed out of the limelight when she got married and lived in the States, but she became the talk of the town once again when news of her separation from her husband reached local shores. Sheryl is now a single mom to her only child and a loving friend to the many mothers of a support group she’s involved in. How is she doing now?

At nine years old, Tina recorded an album and had a hit song called Sana. The daughter of popular basketball player Manny Paner and movie actress Daisy Romualdez, Tina was seen in the movies Sinasamba Kita, Batang Quiapo and Sana Maulit Muli.

Join Rhea Santos as she talks to Tina who has just come home after living in Spain for several years, to raise her only daughter in the Philippines.

Perya queen in Tunay Na Buhay!

On Dec. 15, Rhea Santos meets Susana Borja. Born and raised with no hands, Susana has learned to do everything using her feet. Some people say that her physical condition was brought about by her mother’s strange liking for mannequins when she was still pregnant with her. She grew up being ridiculed by people, even by her family members, because of her physical deformity.

When she was 16, she decided to leave home and joined a group of perya performers to earn a living. Even without hands, she can eat, write and do the laundry — all by herself using her feet.

Ara Mina, Up Close and Personal in ‘Tunay na Buhay’!

In the late ‘90s, she was one of the many budding sexy stars in Philippine showbiz. But little by little, she gained her ground in the industry and even brought home several acting awards after taking on more challenging roles in a number of movies including “Minsan Pa,” “Mano Po 2” and “Huling Birhen sa Lupa.”

She also tried her hand at singing and even managed to produce the hit song, “Ay, ay, ay, Pag-ibig.”

She is Hazel Klenk Reyes or more popularly known as Ara Mina.

In her more than two decades in local showbiz, she became one of the most controversial actors of her time.

Her supposed entanglement with a famous actor and a politician made her the constant talk of the town for quite some time.

More recently, Ara has been the topic of the news once again because of a spat between her and her sister Cristine Reyes.

Today, Ara is about to take on yet another role—this time as she ventures into the world of business.

Join host Rhea Santos as she explores the dramas and controversies in the life of Ara Mina in this week’s episode of GMA-7’s reality documentary show, Tunay Na Buhay, on Saturday, 10:45pm.
