Candice Glover is the new American Idol, another woman won after six long years that men dominates!


“Three years,” was all Candice could say, after picking up the microphone themed “Idol” trophy, referring to how long she had been trying to make it into the “AI” competition.

23-year-old singer from South Carolina is the last contestant standing on season 12 of American Idol.

Jun Macasaet of the Philippines wins Manhunt International 2012!

June Macasaet, 29 years old, stands 185 cm , representing Philippines, was declared the winner of the Manhunt International 2012 competition held in Bangkok, Thailand on November 9th.

The 1st runner-up was Sweden (Bo Peter Jonsson); 2nd runner-up was Macau (Martin Wang); 3rd runner-up was Puerto Rico (Jimmy Perez Rivera), and the 4th runner-up wasSingapore (Jason Chee), and also winner of the Internet Mr. Popularity vote.

Kyle Imao Pinoy Junior MasterChef winner!

Kiddie cook Kyle Imao from Marikina was named the first-ever Pinoy Junior MasterChef  of the “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition Finale: The Live Cook-off” last Saturday!

Kyle garnered the score of 91.8 points from chef-judges Fern Aracama, Rolando Laudico, and JP Anglo; guest judge Glenda Barretto; and 100 other guest-judges.

Kyle took home P1 million and P1.5 million worth of culinary scholarship from Treston International College.

“Parang nanaginip lang ako. Mangarap kayo ng malaki. Huwag kayong titigil mag-work hard para maabot niyo ang pangarap niyo,” he said.

Kyle cooked oyster ravioli and Asian fusion shrimp and scallops for his final dishes.

Philip Amarillo from Cebu won second place with 91.1 points and took home P500,000 and P1.5 million worth of culinary scholarship.

Mika Tanaka and Jobim Jalbuena won the third and fourth places, respectively.

They were awarded P250,000 each as well as P500,000 worth of scholarship.
